Contract: 37hours per week, Term Time Only, Grade 1, temporary for twelve months initially

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced school receptionist to provide additional support to our administrative team.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, friendly, reliable person to manage the smooth running of the Reception area. You will need to have a good telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of children, parents and outside agencies.

You will need excellent IT and interpersonal skills. Previous school office experience using SIMS.net would be an advantage but not essential. Our school receptionist is required to be a first aider, if you do not already hold a relevant qualification, a willingness to undertake training will be essential.

Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and have a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our school and be supportive of its Christian ethos. This post is for 37 hours per week (Term Time Only), hours of work will be 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am-3.30pm on Fridays.

Site Security Officer

Position Title: Site Security Officer

Start date: ASAP

Contract: 18hours per week, whole year, Temporary initially for twelve months, Grade 2

Closing date: Wednesday 21 June 2017, midday

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated member of our support services team to provide a security service for the entire school site during evenings and weekends to support our community lettings programme and other events.

The hours for this post will initially be:

Tuesdays 6-10pm

Wednesdays 6-8pm

Thursdays 6-8pm

Fridays 6-10pm

Saturdays 9.30am-2.30pm

You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring access control gates and doors and CCTV as well as attending to visitors using the facilities. Other duties will include setting up and packing away equipment and rooms along with janitorial duties as required.

You will also be a named key holder on a rota system and attend alarm calls as necessary, for which additional hours will be paid.

The post holder must hold or be willing to hold a first aid qualification.
